On August 5th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local food bank.
Members helped start making food boxes and putting vegetables, deli, yogurt, and any other extra food they had in each box. For produce, members put onions, peppers, lemons, etc. in each box, making sure there were enough for a week’s worth. A breakfast bread (bagels, etc.), a sliced bread, and rolls were also placed in each box. For dessert, members either put one big dessert or 2 small or medium-sized desserts in each box. They also helped outside with bringing food boxes onto the cars. When it was time to cleanup, members wiped down the carts and tables.
