On August 7th, 2024, members of the Aylus Memorial Branch in Houston, Texas volunteered at the Chinese Community Center to assist with the summer youth camp from 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM. The volunteers were in charge of cleaning and putting up the tarp for the portable swimming pool that they took apart two days before. They also helped serve lunch to the kids and clean up storage. The members were able to create a cleaner environment for the kids.
