Columbus Branch Volunteered at the Waste Sorting Station at the Dublin Irish Festival on August 2nd, 2024

On August 2nd, 2024, from 9am-1pm, the City of Dublin hosted its annual Irish Festival where food and festivities were available to the Dublin community to celebrate and share Irish culture. On this day, volunteers Angie Feng and Eliana Chung signed up for and worked at the waste sorting station sorting garbage into recycle and regular waste and weighed the different categories of waste. They made the experience for families visiting the Irish Festival captivating and rewarding regardless of rainy weather.
