On August 3rd, 2024, members of the AYLUS Bergen branch came together to host a park cleanup event at Overpeck County Park in Leonia, New Jersey.
Despite the very hot weather conditions, AYLUS members were able to persist in the park cleanup! Overall, the cleanup was a success, resulting in a cleaner and happier park environment for the community! Not only did we improve the park’s appearance, but also contributed to a healthier habitat for local wildlife. It was a fulfilling experience to see the impact of our hard work and to know that we were making a positive difference in our community.
We are incredibly proud of our members for their perseverance and dedication, especially in such challenging weather conditions. We look forward to organizing more events like this in the future and continuing to make a positive impact in our community!
