On August 3rd, 2024, AYLUS Houston successfully hosted their eleventh SMILE Inclusive Playdate at the Katy Christian Community Church. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the church for generously allowing us to use their space, which was instrumental in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for children of all abilities.
The playdate featured a variety of engaging activities, including balloon animals, puzzles, drawing, and much more. These activities were carefully selected to ensure that every child could participate and have fun, fostering an atmosphere of joy and inclusivity. Volunteers from AYLUS Houston worked diligently to facilitate these activities, ensuring that each child felt included and supported.
This event had a profound impact on the community, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children with special needs and their families. AYLUS Houston is committed to continuing this mission of service and inclusion. We believe in the value of fostering connections and providing support to those who need it most.
