On the evening of August 3rd, 2024, Pearland volunteers organized the Pearland My PlayClub Mini Olympics at Ed Thompson Inclusive Park. Amidst the excitement of the Paris Olympics, volunteers designed a series of games including adaptive ring tossing, fishing, axe throwing, and cornhole. Participants were delighted to receive inflatable torches and medal stickers as rewards. Additionally, volunteers offered face painting and Play-Doh activities. Kids received stickers and take-home gifts such as backpacks and cups, generously donated by a partner. AYLUS members also entertained the children with clown tricks. The event saw a great turnout with approximately 50 kids and 45 adults attending.
