On the afternoon of July 29, 2024, the AYLUS robotics class was hosted at Huz Xua with 10 students and 4 AYLUS teachers attending it. The students were split into 2 groups were given a Spike Prime set to use.There was 5 prebuilt color blocks and 2 prebuilt robots with distance and color sensors. The students task was to detect what color block was there and push it a predetermined distance based on the color. Using their previous knowledge and learning some on the go, the students managed to push a single block. In conclusion, the event was a success as most students learned about the topics.
