AYLUS Oakland Gardens Branch Create Donation Boxes (07/28/2024)

On July 28, 2024, Aylus Oakland Gardens Branch held its 98th event. The members of the branch used their imagination and time to create donation boxes for future events. The AYLUS members met up and made boxes for all kinds of donations. We did the boxes at home.

To make the boxes, the AYLUS members found a cardboard box and cut a hole on the top for the money to go in. Then, they got wrapping paper to wrap around the box and to decorate it. After that, the members made signs and posters to put on the box. It took a lot of time and creativity to make the box. At the end, they made a total of at least 12 donation boxes.

In the end, this event taught them about using creativity to help support AYLUS. The members were determined to finish the box. We hope we can get a lot of donations to support our branch.
