7/27/24 Jericho Branch Helps Maintain Trails at Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary

On July 27, 2024, the Jericho Branch volunteered to help maintain the trails at the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary. Equipped with wheelbarrows, shovels, and rakes, our team worked diligently to spread mulch over trails that were in need of coverage. This not only improved the appearance of the trails but also helped prevent erosion. In addition, we pulled out weeds from a designated field to prepare it for the upcoming quail release. Our efforts contributed to creating a healthier and more inviting environment for both the wildlife and the visitors of the sanctuary.

Members participated (all for 2 hours): Kelly Lin, Johanna Duan, George Wang, Sai Reddy, Sophie Boxuan Xiao, and Vivian Wong.
