On Saturday, July 20, 2024, six AYLUS Columbus Branch members volunteered with the Miracle League for its last day of the season. The Miracle League, located at Darree Fields, is an organization dedicated to helping kids with disabilities play baseball. The volunteers helped pass out flyers informing parents of additional events for their kids to participate in, and they handed out gifts to grandpas and grandmas because it was Grandparents’ Day at the league. Furthermore, they were in charge of organizing trophies awarded to the athletes and rolling out the cart with the trophies after each game. They also passed out team pictures to the parents.
