AYLUS Greater Triangle Branch Volunteers at Cheng County Senior Center Art Reception
On Friday, July 19th, from 1:30 to 4:00PM, the Cheng County Senior Center hosted a special art reception showcasing the artistic works of the elderly. Volunteers from the AYLUS Greater Triangle Branch supported the event by providing assistance and performing live music.
The musical program featured a piano and violin ensemble by Allen and Carey, a trumpet solo by Lena, a flute performance by Yuyang luo , and a violin solo by Kathy. Additionally, Sky Tianyi Han performed a piano solo of Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune.
The volunteers created a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for the seniors. After the performances, they joined the seniors in viewing their paintings and handicrafts, learning about the stories behind the creations. This event not only enriched the seniors’ lives but also provided the volunteers with valuable community service experience.
