Riverside County AYLUS members returned to the food bank on July 10th, 2024 to continue their support for the local food bank. They started out with packing meat and then continued onto creating day bags which consisted of several different items that were ready to be eaten during the day. These day bags contained breakfast items, fruits, and lunch items such as sandwhiches, and salads, as well as dinner goodies that included canned stew, water, juice and desserts. The members continued their work by packing the donation boxes with produce containing items such as vegetables and fruit as well as bread and baked items.
It was a hot day and temperatures outside climbed to 100 F. After 3 hours the members left tired but satisfied of their work they had done.
