On July 10th, two RCA members volunteered at the Discovery Shop, an antique thrift store that is connected to the American Cancer Society. The proceeds through the sale of donated items help support the operations and the research done by the ACS.
The members helped with cleaning the dust, wiping down the windows and tables. They then moved onto organizing the boxes and helping people with their donations. They also added price tags on the items and dumped the trash. They furthermore helped with the display as well. After 4 long hours the members finished their tiring but rewarding shift.
