On July 5th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members cleaned their adopted park.
Members went bright and early to avoid the hot heat that would come later. Members split up to aim for efficiency. They found lots of watermelon rinds lying around as well as pieces of confetti. Mingled in the woodchips at the playground, members found that it was littered with pieces of small ribbons and shiny paper, probably due to the fact that it was the 4th of July the previous day. Members patiently tried to pick up each scrap, being careful not to miss any. Members finished off my walking through the parking lot and throwing away their trash.
