Greater Princeton AYLUS Volunteers in Local Libraries (50th) in July 2024

In July, the Greater Princeton & Far Beyond Branch of AYLUS (GPA) supported local libraries, such as the Summit Free Public Library, West Windsor Public Library, Montgomery Public Library, Plainsboro Public Library, Livingston Public Library, and more.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER: HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Library Programs (teaching Chess, tutoring, etc.)

Book sorting (categorize books to prepare for our book sales)

Staffing events and programs (Book Sales, Senior Happenings, Other)

Administrative/clerical work including labeling/folding Footnotes (quarterly), preparing material for mailing, etc. Some tasks entail work on the computer, other tasks do not.

Assisting in grants seeking

Events planning

Assisting in community/business outreach

Helping sell on eBay

Governance
