On July 4th, 2024 members of the AYLUS Syosset branch volunteered at Jones Beach for the fireworks show for the 4th of July. This event was held to celebrate the 248th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Members of the Syosset Branch helped clean out the beach and maintain order. The event was held for over 6 hours, and the traffic after the fireworks show was awful. But at least our branch could join together and celebrate this remarkable time with each other and have a happy 4th of July.
