AYLUS Bellaire volunteered at the City of Bellaire Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2024

From 6:45 to 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 4, the Bellaire Branch of AYLUS volunteered at the City of Bellaire Independence Day Parade (intersection of S Rice Ave and Huisache St, Patrick Henry St, Grand Lake St, Pocahontas St, Braeburn St and Pine St in Houston, TX).

The City of Bellaire holds its Independence Day Parade annually every July 4. Prior to the parade, volunteers set up traffic cones along the intersection of several streets to block through traffic and helped redirect drivers to avoid the parade route. Volunteers stayed through the duration of the parade, which began around 9:00 AM. After the parade concluded, volunteers assisted with cleanup by putting away the traffic cones and reopening streets.

15 AYLUS volunteers participated in this event (7/4, 3.25 hours): Alexander Tang, Calvin Dai, Miranda Wang, Yuruo Shen, Katherine Guo, Feifan Liu, Shreyas Sinha, Shaun Israni, Kyle Tang, Yuze Han, Jason Chen, Ryan Li, Matthew Zong, Owen Cheng, and Isabel Li.
