On June 29th, 2024, the AYLUS Orlando branch cleaned up a local park through picking up branches, sticks and piled everything up in trash bags within the span of 2 hours. This action aligns with AYLUS Orlando’s goal of environmentalism.

This event is a testament to AYLUS Orlando’s ongoing efforts to foster environmental consciousness and community engagement. Our branch continually strives to make a positive impact through various initiatives, including park cleanups, fundraising for disaster relief, and educational outreach programs. The hard work and enthusiasm displayed by our members during this event reflect our collective dedication to these values.

Together, we are making a tangible difference in our community, one cleanup at a time. Thank you to all the participants for their hard work and commitment to AYLUS Orlando’s goals. We look forward to continuing our efforts and inspiring others to join us in our mission for a better, cleaner environment.

The participants did the following:

  • Pick up roughly 4 full bags of debris from the area of the entire park. Most of the debris was piled rather than bagged
  • Weed the playground and clean up a lot of rogue debris that was scattered throughout the area
