On the evening of June 30, 2024 AYLUS members gathered at Russell Creek Park for a fundraising event. At the event, volunteers sold boba tea and shaved ice while also spreading the word about AYLUS to others. Members were split into different groups to carry out various tasks. Some volunteers were tasked with making the boba tea while others were tasked with making the shaved ice. Another group of volunteers went around the park to spread the word about the AYLUS event to get more members of the community to donate and help fundraise by buying shaved ice or boba tea. Through this event, a lot of AYLUS members learned how to properly make boba tea and shaved ice. Overall, there was a decent amount of people that bought boba tea and shaved ice, and AYLUS members learned a lot through this experience. All in all, this event was a success with many people learning more about AYLUS, and more money being fundraised.
