On 6/26/2024, Aylus Great Neck hosted another tutoring session for aspiring students at the Great Neck Library Station Branch. This session was in the morning; our volunteers arrived at around 10:00PM.
We had a student who wanted to learn some Algebra I to prepare for her next year courses. We were expecting another student, but she was busy and could not come to the tutoring session. Thus, Xingzhi Li and Ruiqi Liu both helped teach the student who was able to come some important Algebra I topics, where Xingzhi Li started her off and Ruiqi Liu continued to teach her after a few dozen minutes. Both volunteers were trying to help the person actively teaching when they were not directly teaching.
After about an hour, our volunteers said their goodbyes and left.
