On June 28, 2024, Pearland volunteers assisted the LSA Special Needs Caring Center’s day hab program. Volunteers supported the center instructors by teaching a life skills class on making spring rolls, providing participants with hands-on culinary experience. They also led a discussion on July 4th traditions, sharing the history and customs associated with Independence Day. To end the day, the volunteers conducted a balloon twisting session, teaching participants how to create different balloon shapes. They also distributed July 4th party favors to everyone, adding a festive touch to the celebration.
