On June 26, 2024, Pearland volunteers conducted a bucket drumming lesson at GiGi’s Playhouse Houston for adults with Down syndrome. After reviewing what had been learned in past sessions, they taught eight participants how to follow the rhythm of a popular song, fostering a sense of rhythm and teamwork. Following the bucket drumming session, the volunteers engaged the participants in a hand painting activity, providing a creative and fun way for them to express themselves.
