On June 22nd, five dedicated members of AYLUS Pearland continued their successful summer art lessons as they strived to nurture young artistic talent (ranging from ages 3-13) within the Pearland community. This class was dedicated to adding on to the kids artistic skills by creating art pieces with colors and textures. After the instructional lesson, the class took a well-deserved break. Chips and drinks were provided, giving the children a chance to socialize and discuss their artwork with their peers. During the second half of the class, the assistants introduced a new art piece which was a drawing of a dog similar to last weeks, but with color and subtle details. The students enjoyed drawing the dog and even added their own personal twists to it.
The session was met with great enthusiasm. Some new faces joined and returning participants too expressed happiness with the day’s engaging environment fostered by the AYLUS Pearland members.
Overall, this second session of our summer art lessons was a resounding success!!
