On June 15 AYLUS Columbus volunteers participated in the healthy liver day hosted by OSU Wexner medical center at bridge park, Dublin. This event aimed at raising community awareness of common liver conditions and keeping a healthy liver. Member Alex Liu joined the event organizers at 9 in the morning and helped them to set up the event including unloading equipment, tables, chairs, and boxes. He also helped to inflate many balloons as decorations. During the event between 10 am and noon, Alex helped to estimate the number of participants periodically. Another volunteer Aimee Zhang joined the event helping in the kids zone with drawings and face painting. After the event, Alex also helped out to dissemble and clean up. It was a great experience and the volunteers were glad they were able to help with this educational event.
