On the evening of June 13, 2024, AYLUS members Derek Zhu, Alex Sun, William Sun, and Will Wang organized a community tennis training session at Dawson High School for local children. The event aimed to introduce the kids to the basics of tennis while fostering a spirit of community service. The young leaders sought to instill a sense of responsibility and community spirit in the participants. During the session, the children learned proper techniques for serving, volleying, and footwork. The event offered a wonderful opportunity for the kids to stay active, make new friends, and develop teamwork skills. The coaches emphasized the importance of sportsmanship and encouraged mutual support among the participants. AYLUS is committed to community engagement and development, and this tennis training session exemplifies their dedication to making a positive impact. The children left with enhanced tennis skills and a stronger appreciation for community involvement.
