AYLUS Basking Ridge Branch volunteered at NJ Sharing Network 5k fundraising event. NJ Sharing Network built awareness for organ and tissue donation, collaborated with an extensive network of healthcare partners to make donations happen, help people make an informed decision about organ and tissue donation. This year, about a 10,000 people participated in the event.
Our members arrived at the site really early, around 6:30am in the morning. After the set-up, our members were assigned to Course Marshall. Our members directed, greeted and cheered up the runners/walkers. Their cheerful energy got great feedback from all the participant and other volunteers. All the volunteers helped and stayed until the end of the event.
