On May 18th, 2024, AYLUS Cheshire Branch helped clean up YMCA Camp Sloper around the park. Camp Sloper is a childhood camp for many and plays a pivotal role in the development of many local children. AYLUS volunteers helped rip up old/dead grass, lay and plow dirt, fertilize it, plant new grass, and clear trees/logs off a trail, among many other jobs. Below are some pictures of the event:
