Chapel Hill Branch Bakes Homemade Cookies for MOW on May 26, 2024

During memorial weekend, volunteers from the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch collaborated to bake delicious cookies for older adults in our community. These delightful treats were generously donated to Meals on Wheels, our local nonprofit committed to providing meals for the elderly. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to these volunteers for their kindness and unwavering dedication. Their actions embody the essence of Meals on Wheels’ mission: assisting seniors in aging with dignity. Furthermore, they convey to the elderly that they are cherished and valued members of our community. We encourage more individuals to join us in the future, as these small acts of kindness have a profound impact on our community.

Our volunteers: Andy Sun (6 hours), Andrew Zhao (6 hours), Alwin Liu (4 hours),  Eric Sun (6 Hours), Owen Xie (6 hours), and Nicholas Wang (1.5 hours wrapping).
