In the afternoon of May 23rd, two Pearland branch officers and parent advisors visited Jim’s Jungle Farm, a newly established local nonprofit organization. The farm aims to serve the special needs community by providing a space to interact with animals and learn to grow plants and produce, helping them gain essential life skills. Volunteers assisted in planning special needs activities at the farm, including a petting zoo and various games.
Additionally, they discussed future collaboration opportunities to further support and enhance the services provided to the special needs community.
