The Lemonade Day Prep Event on May 12th was a vibrant and enriching experience led by AYLUS volunteers for their younger peers ranging from years 5 to 7. In this friendly environment, the kids had the chance to learn important business skills from passionate volunteers. Through interactive workshops facilitated by our volunteers, participants gained insights into marketing strategies, sales techniques, and the ins and outs of running a successful lemonade stand. Working together in teams, they brainstormed recipes, designed eye-catching signs, and practiced their sales pitches, all under the guidance of our volunteers. Beyond the business aspect, the event also highlighted the importance of giving back, with the proceeds all being donated to the Silvercrest Library. With a side activity of lively face painting, which included innovative and colorful designs designed especially for the Lemonade Day, adding to the excitement, the event was not only educational but also fun-filled, fostering a sense of camaraderie and empowerment among all involved. AYLUS going party package which includes face painting, balloons also introduced to the parents.
