AYLUS Manhasset members organized a composting and woodburning session at an elderly couple’s house, whose names are Sandy and Andy. We went to help them move around a lot of branches and debris that had fallen during the winter and several storms over the recent weeks. This included helping to clear their driveways and to clean various parts of their yard. We burned the wood as a request to turn it into fertilizer for them, and we also helped with more menial tasks.
This event lasted for 8 (eight) hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with Eva Westbay, Benjamin Yang, and Matthew Yang
