Right after watching the solar eclipse on April 8th 2024, our volunteers started to ask around to collect Solar Eclipse glasses from April 10th to 28th. These glasses are being donated to Latin American children so they can enjoy the eclipse in August 2024. Recycling the glasses would also protect the earth, as it is a great way to be environmentally friendly, but also help others have the opportunity to experience a solar eclipse.
We thank our members for their hard work and dedication to collecting the solar glasses.
