On 3/23/24 West Essex AYLUS members volunteered with Caldwell Cannons Swimming team at the Special Olympics area swimming meet. The event was hosted by Meadowlands Area YMCA in East Rutherford New Jersey. Members met with team members and coaches at 12:30pm on the event day. Volunteers helped special swimmers warm up on the floor and in the pool, and shadowed them through out the competition day for their events and award ceremonies.
