The AYLUS Birmingham Branch partnered with Grace Klein, an organization dedicated to sharing resources for the purpose of building relationships to ignite restoration of individuals, families, and communities. Grace Klein holds drive-thru sites to fight food insecurities and provides a variety of other resources for families, including baby products as well as school supplies for children. The organization also has community homes, where it hosts individuals in need of a place to stay and provides resources for them to thrive.
On August 7, members of the Birmingham Branch arrived at the Liberty Church to assist with general maintenance of the building. Volunteers power washed the sidewalk outside, cleaned windows, mopped floors, and reorganized sections of the building.
