On April 19, members of the AYLUS Birmingham Branch prepared to host a fundraiser for baked goods to raise money to donate to the Vestavia Hills High School Math Team. Volunteers gathered to bake fruit cakes, cupcakes, and make zongzi. The following day (4/20), members distributed these goods to people who had pre-ordered, and sold the remaining food to passersby. The Birmingham Branch raised over $1000 to donate to their local math team.
