AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at TOYOTA ARENA on 03/31/2024
On March 31, 2024, eight volunteers from AYLUS RC BRANCH participated in the final fundraising event for the Building Bright Futures children’s program. This event marked the culmination of a four-month-long effort, during which we raised thousands of dollars. Hosted at our local TOYOTA ARENA, in conjunction with the Empire Stryker’s Ball Toss event season, our volunteers set up soccer kicking and ball selling activities at the entrance during each game to raise funds for children in need. All proceeds from sales were dedicated to promoting the academic and personal success of these children.
Divided into two groups, one focused on coordinating the soccer kicking activity, managing ticket sales, and retrieving balls, while the other managed the ball-selling activity, packaging balls of varying quantities and prices. Both activities were well-received, attracting families who attended the games, and as a result, the four-hour event swiftly passed by. Through our collective efforts, we managed to generate over $400 in sales, a testament to the excitement and dedication of our volunteers in supporting children in need.
With the successful conclusion of this year’s event, all participants take pride in their contributions, looking forward to the possibility of engaging in similarly meaningful activities in the coming year.
