AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at TOYOTA ARENA on 12/15/2023
On December 25, 2023, four volunteers from AYLUS RC Branch participated in the Building Bright Futures, children’s program fundraising event. This event, part of a series, took place at our local TOYOTA ARENA, the venue for the Empire Stryker’s Ball Toss event season. Whenever there’s a game, we set up kickball and ball-selling activities at the entrance to raise funds for children’s development, promoting their academic and personal success.
On that day, we divided into two groups. One group coordinated the kickball activity, starting from ticket sales to ball retrieval. Since many families bring their children to watch the games, this game is always popular. The other group managed the ball-selling activity. We pre-packaged bags of balls with varying quantities and prices. Both activities were well-received, and before we knew it, four hours had passed.
We raised over $500 in sales on the first day, which was incredibly exciting. The enthusiasm of the participants and supporters was evident, and we’re eagerly looking forward to the next event!
The volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to this cause were Zichen Zhu; Ryan Kan; Ziyu Zhu; James Yang. Each volunteer contributed 4 hours.
