AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch participated in the Sports Day event on 10/21/2023
On October 21, 2023, two members from AYLUS RC BRANCH, Tommy Tang and Ryan Kan, participated in the RC CITY’s SPORTS DAY volunteer event. The event took place at our CITY’s SPORTS CENTER, attracting many children eager to join the activities. The event featured both indoor and outdoor venues, offering various sports activities for kids to try out.
Indoors, there were numerous sports stations where children could engage in different athletic endeavors under the guidance of coaches. Outdoors, there were facilities for basketball, volleyball, baseball, and more. Tommy and Ryan, along with other city volunteers, dedicated five hours to the event, assisting in setting up the sports venues, preparing equipment, and supervising children during their activities. After the event, they also helped clean and tidy up the site.
The day was quite hot, making the volunteer work physically demanding as they tirelessly moved around without much rest. However, seeing the happy faces of the children in our community made it all worthwhile. Despite the challenges, the volunteers felt a sense of fulfillment and joy in contributing to the enjoyment of the kids.
