AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at 2023 Harvest Hoedown on 09/29/2023

On September 29, 2023, 17 members of the AYLUS RC Branch stepped into our local community’s Floyd M. Stork School elementary school to participate in the school’s annual Harvest Hoedown celebration. This marked our second year joining this lively event, which was filled with excitement and festivities. Set in the school’s playground, the event featured numerous booths offering games, face painting, delicious food, and handcrafted goods. The school was adorned with pumpkin decorations, creating a festive atmosphere to celebrate the autumn harvest.

Last year, we volunteered to maintain order in the gaming area. This year, some of our members continued with this volunteer work, while others operated our own booth for a charity sale. All the items we sold were donated by our members, including nail art, face painting materials, various handicrafts, artificial flowers, bags, pet mats, and more.

As the event began and the crowd grew, our booth became increasingly busy. Everyone was excitedly promoting our products and services, experiencing the joy of salesmanship. Our products and services were well-received, and we were thrilled when customers paid us, even if it was just one dollar.

The event continued until 9:00 PM, and by the end, everyone was happy and satisfied with the experience. We had many gains from the event and eagerly anticipate participating again next year. It was a fun-filled and rewarding experience, and we look forward to continuing to be a part of this exciting event in the future.
