From 9 AM to 12 PM, the members of AYLUS Bellaire branch worked with other volunteers under the leadership of Houston Food Bank supervisors in the assembly line area, where they were sorted into various food into their respective groups, such as milk, tuna, chicken, dried dates, fruit mix, rice, and raisin. As the volunteers sorted the products into boxes, they had to ensure that there was no damage to the product.
At around 10:30 AM, the volunteers received a 15 mins break after working for a long time. Together, the volunteers completed a total of 21 pallets, 630 boxes, 3,150 bags which will serve 18,900 meals to people who needed them.
Three AYLUS members attended this event (3 hours): Raymond Han, James Wang, and Lucas Wang. Thank you to our volunteers for sorting products for meals to our community!
