On Saturday, March 23, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to the STAT animal sanctuary.
Greeting the goats and pigs, the volunteers cleared out their waste from the area. They shoveled the waste into a wheelbarrow, then moved on to the turkey and sheep pen. After clearing out the pen, they dumped the wheelbarrows and proceeded to the larger goat pens. First taking time to ensure the goats didn’t run into each other’s pens, the volunteers cleaned up the remaining goat area before dumping out the last of the waste. They then bid goodbye to the animals.
