AYLUS San Clemente members volunteered at FAM food pantry on March 11th and March 13th, 2024.
On March 11th, 2024, Jasmine, Kevin and Eddie volunteered at FAM food pantry from 9 am to 12 pm; three hours. The supervisor was Dean, Jasmine’s dad. For the first hour, we made goodie bags. Kevin took out the trash two times and Eddie helped lift a pallet (for boxes to be put on) three times (of the three times Kevin and Jasmine helped once). For the second hour we sorted various food items from boxes to organized crates and containers; the crates would have miscellaneous snacks to be put into goodie bags and the containers would have food items to be put in FAM bags. For the third hour we made FAM bags.
On March 13th, 2024, Kevin and Jasmine volunteered at FAM food pantry for two hours from 3pm to 5 pm with Dean as the supervisor. First, we moved a large box of FAM bags to a different box to be given out to FAM’s clients, and then for the rest of the time we broke down/flattened used cardboard boxes to be recycled.
