2024/3/3 AYLUS Volunteers at Bethpage Park to clear up space for spring
AYLUS Dix Hills members help at an environmental event to prepare for Spring. The main task of volunteers was to rake branches into piles in order to clear space for the soil to be on the surface. Along with this, volunteers relocated these branches to a different location. There were also many small tasks done by volunteers such as removing weeds, dead trees, and shoveling dirt.
The work of the volunteers allowed Bethpage park to have an aesthetic and clear space for plants and grass to grow. In the process, creating a better environment and community.
