On February 17th, 2024, AYLUS Warren members volunteered at the Central Jersey Regional Lunar New Year Festival hosted at Raritan Valley Community College (118 Lamington Rd, Branchburg, NJ 08876). Several AYLUS Warren volunteers arrived early to help set up the concert and then work as backstage managers throughout the show. They also arranged the lunch for the other volunteers and performers, as well as handed out flyers to audience members. They also stayed afterwards to help clean up. Other AYLUS Warren volunteers arrived early for the official dress rehearsal for the concert and then performed in the show, also staying afterwards to help clean up.
The concert was attended by a large audience of community members who all really liked the show, giving great applause to the performances and the volunteers as well, for helping make the concert a great experience. The concert included performances of all kinds including traditional Chinese dance, singing, drums, dragon dance, and martial arts.
Volunteers arrived as early as 9:00 am in the morning to help out at the dress rehearsal and stayed after the concert ended to help clean up. AYLUS Warren members were also joined by neighboring AYLUS branches including Bridgewater and Basking Ridge.
