Columbus Branch Volunteered at the Lunar New Year Celebration at a Local High School and Fundraised for Engineer Without Borders – OSU Chapter on February 2nd, 2024
Dublin Jerome High School Asian Youth Union (AYU) held its annual Lunar New Year celebration on February 2nd during lunch break. Volunteers from AYLUS-Columbus held a paper art table at the event, distributing premade paper cranes and paper dragons, as well as teacher students how to make the paper art. They also set up a fundraising box and introductory materials (prepared by Brenna Li) of the collaboration between AYLUS and EWB-OSU and its ongoing projects.
The table was well received by the participants of the event. All the premade paper arts were out.
AYLUS parents were also volunteering at the table, including Vicky Wang’s mom, Hong Lin, and Brenna Li’s mom, Dakun Wang.
