On February 11, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members volunteered at local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers led the residents through chair yoga, helping them stretch and build up strength. After exercise, the residents were given cranberry juice or water and were given a choice of chocolate pudding or yoghurt. For some residents who were unable the volunteers helped them eat. The residents were taken outside to enjoy the sunlight and a musical performance, and afterwards the residents were taken on walks to enjoy the fresh air. The residents were then taken inside for lunch. The volunteers also passed out pre-made Valentine’s Day cards to the residents.

On February 11th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members served seniors ice cream and played piano.
Members were happy to see a couple of seniors already waiting for them. Members started by playing upbeat songs that the seniors were singing to. Halfway, members played some well-known classical pieces like Clair de Lune which all the seniors knew and hummed along. Then, they finished off with some jazz pieces. At the ice cream parlor, members served the seniors with a smile and talked with them. At the end, they cleaned up and put all the materials back.
