Reported by Adora Xiao :
On Saturday, February 3, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to the STAT horse sanctuary.
The volunteers hopped through muddied areas and around excited goats to pile and scoop waste into a wheelbarrow, trying their best to rake up the area while stopping occasionally to pet the goats. They did a quick pass through and cleanup around the sheep and chicken coop, before crossing over to the main goat pen. Relieved that the area was less muddy, the volunteers cleaned up the area swiftly, before moving over to the donkey’s field. Shoveling the waste and dumping it into the faraway fertilizer pile, the volunteers then took some time to pet the animals and enjoy their company. They then bid goodbye to the sanctuary.
