On January 11th, 2024, members of the AYLUS-Columbus branch held an in-person weekly tutoring session for the 2023/2024 school year at the Abbey Church Village in Dublin, Ohio. This community is part of the national church residences and serves low income families, including new immigrant families. AYLUS Columbus members helped 5 elementary or middle school students with their math and English homework. They also helped a high school student, who joined the program for the first time.
Brenna Li’s mother, Dakun Wang, was the adult supervisors of the session.
