On January 15th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to the Community Mission of Hope.
The volunteers started the day with washing crates, using the pressure washer to hose down areas and ensure they were thoroughly cleaned, before stacking the crates upside down to dry. They simultaneously used rags to wipe down some of the tables inside. After the crates were finished, the volunteers hosed down some of the carts. The volunteers then worked to box various drinks, weigh produce, and sort meats. As shipments of food came from various grocers, the volunteers sorted the produce into dairy, drinks, breads, etc on different carts. The carts were weighed and the contents were placed in storage.
