Together with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), we are calling on the AANHPI(Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders) communities to help make history and change the future of health. The health data we share will be added to the All of Us Research Program database. Researchers can access this data to conduct studies. This could help them see how different things, like environment, lifestyle, and genes, can impact health. This may help develop new medical treatments that are unique to each person.
We received approval from the Richwoods Homeowner’s Association that we were allowed to advocate the All of Us Research Program at the Richwoods Clubhouse on December 23, 2023. We gather together at the clubhouse at noon. We offered free cotton candy or balloon art after each adult watched a two-minute video and signed their names and emails. Some team members worked very hard to hold our flyer at the intersection of the entry to show our enthusiasm. We spread the AYLUS spirit to local communities and helped the All of Us program gain more attention.
